The Bog Snorkelling Championships

Need we say any more?

Set in the smallest town in Wales, competitors have to complete two lengths of a 60 yard trench cut through a lovely warm clean peat bog in the quickest time possible, wearing snorkels and flippers but without using any conventional swimming strokes.

We'll prepare for the event in the best most fun way possible by visiting one of the three national parks in gorgeous Wales, the Brecon Beacons, home to adventure lovers and scenery hunters alike. We'll be doing the both as we take some time to really explore some of the Brecon Beacon's most scenic and stunning areas.

Details

Day 1 - We depart from London at 08.00 and head straight for Wales to make the most of the great outdoors. We'll be checking out more of the Brecon Beacons National Park before relaxing in our home for the night in a lovely hostel in Abergavenny - right above a pub!

Day 2 - We depart from Abergavenny for Llanwrtyd Wells where the Bog Snorkelling takes part. Here we'll have a right old giggle at the participants - unless you happen to be one yourself!

Finally we return to London in time for dinner.
